I’m sure you are all aware of the sweeping range of extraordinary interventions put in place by our President and his government in an attempt to curb the spread of the coronavirus outbreak. In keeping with the recommendations of the World Health Organisation and in accordance with the restrictions put in place by the Government, a decision was made, by the Committee to CANCEL THE APRIL AND MAY MEETINGS AND OUTINGS.

While we understand that this decision this may cause frustration and disappointment to our Members, we ask that you understand that the health and safety of our Members and ALL our citizens is paramount and in the words of Cyril Ramaphosa; “If we act swiftly with purpose and collectively we can limit the effects of the coronavirus on our people and our country. We are responding as a united nation to a common threat. This national emergency demands cooperation, collaboration and common action.”

The Committee wishes to thank you for your understanding in this matter and we wish all our Members good health in the weeks to come. Remember to keep washing those hands at every opportunity!
